Religious Trauma 101

In this session, RTC founders Sam, Jane & Elise give you a rundown of some of the keys concepts you will hear over the next 3 days. We explore religious trauma (and how it differs from other types of trauma), purity culture, spiritual abuse and the mirroring we see with domestic abuse dynamics; as well as some other key terms.

We acknowledge the Indigenous people of the lands we have recorded on. Our speakers and hosts are located on Aboriginal Country all across the lands now called Australia and Maori lands across Aoteoroa.
